You have also asked us to review the status of the standby water and sewer districts <br />that were created in case the transportation corporations fail. <br />Transportation Corporations <br />On August 31, 2011, by resolution 2022011 the Town of Dover Town Board adopted a <br />resolution "Authorizing Consent to Incorporate Transportation Corporations" in connection with <br />Dover Knoll's redevelopment project. The resolution required the developer to provide the <br />Town with a performance bond to ensure completion of the required improvements and a <br />financial guaranty that the corporations would provide service for a minimum of five years. <br />According to the Town Clerk, neither the performance bond nor the financial guarantee were <br />ever submitted to the Town before the Dover Knolls project was abandoned. <br />Engineering reports for the provision of water and sewer service by the Transportation <br />Corporations were prepared by Chazen Engineering and Land Surveying. The reports are dated <br />January 19, 2011.
